Please keep the people of Japan in your prayers at this incredibly difficult time.
I think we should especially pray for the 50 or so workers currently staying behind to control the nuclear power stations. They are indeed heroes.
The many thousands who have died.
Those missing, unaccounted for.
Japan, the country, as a whole.

Ash Wednesday 2011
The beginning of Lent, a time of fasting and abstinence. A time to renew our lives.
Lord,
Be my strength as I take on the challenges of this new Lent. Give me a willing heart so I may keep Lent faithfully. I ask you to bless me and to be my encouragement.
In your goodness help me in these first days to turn my heart to you in a spirit of penance. Grant me a steadfast focus as I seek to please you, a resolve to overcome my faults, to persevere in prayer and good deeds.
May you spur me on to make the most of these first days, to make this a precious time in my life, a time to grow in your friendship.
I know you will be my strength.

Oh Saint Joseph whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the Throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires.Oh Saint Joseph, assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your Divine Son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, Our Lord; so that having engaged here below your Heavenly power I may offer my Thanksgiving and Homage to the Loving of Fathers.
Oh Saint Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart.
Press Him in my name and kiss His fine Head for me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath.
Saint Joseph, Patron of departing souls, pray for us.

Say for nine consecutive mornings for anything you may desire. It has seldom been known to fail.
